There are on average 3 solar eclipses that occur every year. These eclipses are referred to as “Veils”, usually in the order they occurred in (“First Veil”, “Second Veil”, etc). There is one Lunar eclipse per year, alternating between Falias and Ysera, known as The Gloom. It occurs on the 13th night of Hel, and on this night undead become stronger, and drastically increase in numbers in the days leading up to The Gloom.
Winter is the longest season on Pariatas but can last much longer on the poles, lasting anywhere between 6-9 chains in Sindur, and often times can create Permafrost conditions on the frozen tundras and in the highest mountains. . As one travels south the climate warms during Winter, to a cool and rainy climate on the equator.
